About Me

IMG_2392I grew up in true “Small Town USA” life, in a house sandwiched between Alfalfa fields and Alkali Bee beds. I attended school, kindergarten through 12th grade, in Touchet Washington; later moving to Walla Walla to continue on with college. As a child, I would accompany my father, grandparents, and cousins, on various hunting and fishing trips, which instilled within me a deep respect and appreciation for the natural world.

As I grew older, sports and music became a new center of focus for me. It was in my High School years where I gained the drive to physically and mentally push myself and to achieve new levels of physical fitness. It was shortly after graduating when I found the common ground that tied two of my passions together.

Working out with a goal or purpose in mind is what drives me to push forward and go harder. When proper nutrition and training meet the outdoor world, I have the confidence in my ability to overcome any obstacle. That is why I decided to create this blog. To share with you some of my methods and routines for physical readiness, some of the work I do  in preparation for a hunt, as well as some of my hunting and scouting photos (but not locations!) as I go along my journey.
